Beth Beck from Breast Care for Washington (a brand new grantee this year) and the Arlington Free Clinic (a BHOP Grantee since 2002) were at the Washington, D.C. Avon 39, the Walk to End Breast Cancer on May 6-7, 2016.
Arlington Free Clinic enjoyed meeting all of the amazing walkers, hearing their stories, and personally thanking them while sharing anecdotes about how the walkers’ efforts have benefitted the Arlington Free Clinic patients, who otherwise would have limited access to life-saving breast cancer services. The staff at Arlington Free Clinic remarked how the registration is always so well organized and what a pleasure it is to volunteer for this event. CB Wohl from the Arlington Free Clinic said, “Thank you for Avon’s steadfast support to our clinic and the women we serve!”
