Dear Avon BHOP Grantees,
Spring brings change and change brings growth! The Coordinating Center for the Avon Breast Health Outreach Program is constantly trying to grow and improve how we do business, and 2015 has brought several changes.
First, we have improved the quarterly data reporting requirements by adding more process and outcome elements, such as linkages to care, stages of diagnosis and patient navigation services. By quantifying services and quality of care delivered to your clients, we hope to demonstrate the positive impact of your efforts to reach women in need of breast cancer services.
Next, we have also instituted a more formal response to our quarterly review of your reports by sending a summary of your progress towards reaching the key performance measures that we have established, as well as possible identification of issues that need to be addressed. Let us know how useful you find these summary reports.
And finally, we are moving rapidly into electronic data reporting! With the recent distribution of 28 more iPads, we now have 85% of BHOP grantees who are either using iPads or electronic data file transmission to submit some or all of their Client Intake Form (CIF) data!! The trees say "thank you"!
